Yeppers. GM laid me off. And here I was getting a corporate job because it was supposed to be more stable than the game industry.
If you’ve ever though about hitting my tipjar, now would be a good time.

Dude! I totally know what that feels like!
My boss once called my entire team in for an unexpected meeting. As we filed in I jokingly quipped “What’s up boss? Are we all getting laid off?”
I didn’t expect the answer to be yes. Ouch.
Look on the bright side, February 29th only comes once every four years!

I’m unemployed too, so I’m looking for other unemployed people for an educational software project, either something like Matlab, or perhaps something geared towards a younger audience: http://www.softwareforkids.com/children-software/math.html
I got the idea a couple of days ago, and I still havn’t been able to find any similarly unemployed people. But someone I recently chatted with gave me the idea to contact schools if I wanted to find teachers, I can ask them about their needs.
