I finished converting the majority of my game framework from DirectX/FMOD to OpenGL/SDL.
It’s a sickness, I swear. I’m a complete junkie.
So in order to get motivated to work on indie stuff you say you are going to stop working on indie stuff?
I’m gonna have to try that myself.
I thought FMOD was already cross-platform? 🙂

Arkiruthis: Yes, but it’s not free, ergo I wouldn’t have been able to sell anything I made with it.
Well, you could have, if you’re ready to pay the $3000 license fee. Per product. Crazy. It used to be much lower, but I guess they got too big support load that way.
An alternate is BASS from http://www.un4seen.com/; 125e per platform, or (for example) win32+osx combo at 200e, unlimited products, as long as you’re indie and your software costs less than 40e.
I’ve never used BASS, but I think I’ll give it a spin.
