I’m probably not going to post about every video I do for this…I just wanted to let you guys know I’m doing it. I love Starflight, despite its flaws, and I want more people to learn about this groundbreaking game.

Sorry it was so abrupt. I filmed ten minutes’ worth of video (STUPID YOUTUBE) only to discover that what I thought was ten minutes was actually thirteen. So I had to split the video up. Part 2 will go up tonight.

I’ve actually managed to miss starflight completely. For some reason I’ve mixed it up conceptually with lightspeed/hyperspeed..
Starflight was a beloved game from my childhood that I never completed… and as it happens, I’m just going back to it now! I’m keeping a Google Docs record of all the clues, etc as I find them, and a minimal log for my ships, for fun.
It was fun stumbling across this, and I love that you used the Firefly crew! You made one mistake, though — River should not be the Comm. Officer. You could give it to “Ambassador” Inara — or to Jayne, of course. He is in Public Relations, after all.
